Membership
Joining FilmStream is free. Once you fill out your membership information you will be placed in a “stream.“ This stream will include you and the person who recommended you to this site and the person who recommended that person and so on. These people will be “upstream” of you. Anyone whom you recommend will be placed “downstream” of you.
Looking for a job
Once you have joined FilmStream you can post your name in whatever job category you like. (Some of us wear many hats.) Your FilmStream Profile will consist of a thumbnail photo of you, a downloadable document of your resume, links to your IMDb profile and online demo reel. You can e-mail potential employers your personalized FilmStream Profile -- creating an all-in-one presentation to show off your talents.

Getting a job!
If you get a job through our referral site -- congratulations! To complete your obligation to this service, please show your undying gratitude by submitting a referral fee. It will be in the amount of 10% of your first week's salary (before taxes). Half of your fee (5%) will go to the FilmStream “agent” that found you your job and the other half (5%) will be equally distributed to the fellow members located above you in your stream. (A little thanks for getting you here.) The FilmStream Referral Fee calculator automatically figures the correct fees and then sends them out to the participating member’s PayPal accounts. If you work fewer than 10 days, your referral fee is only 10% of your first day's pay.
We will be working on an honor system, hoping that all who participate will play fair. It would be a shame for you to slip out of your stream -- the possibility of earning future referral money (residual income) is fantastic. Just having someone downstream from you get a job will earn you money.
Becoming a FilmStream agent
Nothing to do between jobs? Help your fellow Streamers by keeping your radar open for any job positions out there. If you find a gig for one of our job seekers, you get the commission. The better the job, the bigger the “thank you.“ If you find yourself upstream from that person you referred, you get an additional bonus by being in their stream.
